2011 smart CALENDAR IS AN IDEAL GIFT CHRISTMAS

Hundreds of smart owners, members of destinationsmart.co.uk, the brand’s fast-growing social community website, submitted evocative and seasonal images for the fund-raising calendar, with the best 12 selected by judges from the smart UK product team for the finished article.

With entries from as far afield as Bournemouth and Belfast, and a variety of smarts from the fortwo, roadster and special edition versions, it’s a winning combination of stylish models past and present. The calendar even includes the eye-catching smart fortwo pink passion edition, featured in October to coincide with the Breast Cancer Campaign’s �Wear It Pink’ month.

“The competition generated some really fantastic images, which really symbolise the fun and colour associated with the smart brand,� said Martine Edgell, destinmationsmart.co.uk Community Manager.

“If people are deliberating what to buy the smart enthusiast in their life for Christmas, the calendar could be the ideal stocking filler,â€? she added. “What’s more, we hope that profits from the calendar will generate much needed funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign, a charity that we are already supporting with a donation of ?£10,000 from total sales of the recently-launched smart fortwo pink passion model.â€?
